The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

This year marks our 100th anniversary! Rooted in the movement that secured the right to vote for women, the League has worked to foster civic engagement and enhance access to the vote since 1920. Our work has evolved from efforts to gain and foster women's suffrage to ensuring that all eligible voters have the opportunity and information they need to exercise their right to vote.

An Informed Voter is a Powerful Voter

We are committed to providing fair, nonpartisan candidate forums that are open to the general public. We aim to cover as many local races as possible heading into the 2020 general election. Forums run through October 19 and are all virtual; recordings of the forums will also be posted here. Many of the forums will be livestreamed on our Facebook page.

View your entire ballot, info on your candidates, polling place location and more using our online voter guides at Vote411.org.
