The League of Women Voters, a non partisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy. 

The League never supports or opposes candidates, but we do take positions on issues that we have studied and come to consensus on at the local, state or national level.

The League of Women Voters was founded by suffrage leaders 100 years ago....and league members continue to advocate for voter rights and education today.
