While our work continues remotely through the pandemic - all public events
and interactions are suspended until further notice.

The purposes of LWVVC are to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation in government, to act on selected governmental issues, and to provide members the opportunity to be engaged in the League to the extent they desire.

Our goals for 2020-21:

  • Educate and empower citizens in preparation for the upcoming elections.
  • Commit to listen to and amplify underrepresented voices, educate ourselves and our community on historic and ongoing systemic racism.
  • Provide education and advocate in the areas of public education, election integrity, juvenile justice, social justice, health care (including mental health), natural resources, governmental restructuring, and growth management issues.
  • Promote collaboration and build positive relationships with diverse groups.
